Welcome to my web site. You can always use the links at the left-hand side of the page to navigate to other parts of the site. What I have here is a cross-section of the various subjects with which I have spent a good deal of time. Some of the material may be out-of-date, some controversial, but I expect it won't be boring.
The Personal FAQ questions that were once listed on this page have moved to my Personal FAQ page. For an overview of what's here, see the Site Map or the What's New page for details.
Soapbox
There is no greater possession mankind has than that of freedom. Without that, anything else you possess can be taken from you in an instant by those forces which would seek to keep you from realizing your true potential. The web represents a major step in the realization of universal freedom for all. Isn't it worth protecting? There are many organizations out there fighting to keep the Internet free. Stay up-to-date with news of the latest battles by joining the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
We are in danger of getting government by the clueless, over a place they've never been, using means they don't possess.
-- John Perry Barlow, EFF co-founder, 1995
However, freedom has two sides -- like a coin (or, as some would say, like a double-edge sword). How can one claim freedom for themselves without, at the same time, granting it to others. With freedom comes the responsibility to act in such a way as to protect the freedom of those around you to reach their ultimate potential as well. If everyone acted as though their neighbor's freedom to exist was every bit as important as their own, together we could wipe out war and crime in an instant. Check out my Thelema page for some practical advice on how to achieve such a world.
Go soothingly on the greasy mud, for therein lies the skid demon.
-- Chinese Road Sign
Please note that everything found in these pages is my own opinion and nothing more (save for the few clearly identified documents I've seen fit to mirror on this site). I was once even removed from the listing of employee home pages at Ikos for reasons which were never explained. If you count yourself among the easily offended, do us both a favor and press the back button on your browser right now.

Nine tenths of everything is crap.

Hit Counter Section
There used to be a counter here. But it hasn't really worked for years. And hit counters are so uncool these days. Someday when I have a counter that captures unique visitors (as opposed to clicks), I'll consider putting it here.
